I would have been intrigued by Carole\u2019s new novel even it didn\u2019t look almost exactly like the cover I chose for I<\/em>\u00a0Will Find You.\u00a0<\/em>I mean,\u00a0<\/em>I\u2019ll take any association with the fabulous Carole Mortimer, who just completed her 200th novel for Harlequin and has recently embarked on a career in Indie publishing. She is the most amazing writer.<\/p>\n

Recently I enjoyed\u00a0The Duke\u2019s Mistress<\/em>\u00a0(Regency Unlaced 1) and\u00a0Claimed by the Marquis<\/em>\u00a0(Regency Unlaced 2) which she wrote.<\/p>\n

So, why are our covers nearly identical? Maybe because we both fell in love with the same premade cover from the same cover designer, the super-talented Kim Killion.<\/p>\n

Carole\u2019s stories in her Regency Unlaced Series as well as her stories in the Knight Security Series are so hot she posts a warning.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so glad I didn\u2019t heed the warning because I thought the two novellas were delicious.<\/p>\n

\"\"Challenging Gabriel<\/em>\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

When I asked Carole why she chose\u00a0our<\/em>\u00a0cover for this passionate tale, her reasons were nearly exactly the same as mine\u2014even though our stories are our own.<\/p>\n

To quote Carole: \u201cBecause it’s lush and ultra-sensual. The hero looks so dangerously sexy, and yet I like the idea of the woman on top, as the guy is confident enough in his own sexuality and skin to allow that impression of domination. It is so, so sensual. Loved it from the moment I first saw it, and I knew I had to use it as the cover for the 3rd book in my contemporary Knight Security series.<\/p>\n

Back to me. I chose it for\u00a0I Will Find You<\/em>,\u00a0<\/a>a short story version of one of my favorite novels,\u00a0Night<\/em>\u00a0Child<\/em>\u00a0(Bk 3, Texas: Children of Destiny)\u00a0<\/a>which I wanted to publish free for my fans and as a teaser for new readers. I, too, felt this sensual story needed as equally sensual cover.<\/p>\n

Warning: besides being a version of\u00a0Night Child<\/em>, this short story has been published recently as one of the stories in\u00a0Fantasy Lovers<\/em>.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t read\u00a0Night Child<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Fantasy Lovers<\/em>, and you want something short and free, you won\u2019t want to miss this fiery, suspenseful romance!<\/p>\n
