I hope you’re ready for warmer weather! May 1 my husband decided to take two months off in between changing jobs, so we will be traveling, babysitting grandchildren, and, hopefully, I will be writing.
In June THE BRIDE HUNTER, the final book of my Golden Spurs series will be published. While writing this book I lost two of the people I love most in the world. My brilliant editor had to put on her thinking cap. Because of her hard work and guidance, I ended up feeling very proud of this novel, although not without a few hair-pulling moments.
Connor Storm has been paid by his brother to find the ranch’s long-missing heiress, Becky. Their relationship gets off to a rocky start when he falls in love, but doesn’t tell her who he is or who she is. Instead, he indulges in a whirlwind romance and marries her. When she discovers part of the truth, she thinks she can never trust such a man and flees.
When he later learns they have a little girl, who looks like him, he goes after them and brings them home. This time he will do whatever it takes to make the relationship work.
Surely, no heroine has ever needed a happily-ever-after ending more than Becky, although it takes Connor a while to make her realize it.
Enjoy,
